Lakeland Case Study

Why Lakeland Region?

I am dedicated to the Lakeland region because this is my home. I was born and raised in this region, and my family has called the area home for over 100 years.

Growing up in Two Hills during the early 2000's I've witnessed firsthand the economic shifts of small Albertan communities. Many small town businesses have relocated, and communities continue to struggle across a relatively wide geographical area, especially during long winter off seasons.

With rural Alberta facing unique service challenges such as internet, road, and amenity access, social media and digital content is notably underutilized. Most businesses and organizations having marginal online presence. Creating a regional
"Blue Ocean" for rural Alberta vs Urban.

With this Lakeland Case Study, I would like to test the rural ocean through targeted creative services focused on creating value for local communities. I believe customers are willing to travel longer distances more frequently to support small communities that have a strong brand and online presence. People enjoy expected outcomes, with consistent services. An online presence can digitally set those expectations and help generate demand year round.

My goal is to collaborate with Lakeland small businesses and organizations. Assisting them in adapting to broader digital markets, while also encouraging repeat local business with solution based content. Strengthening and growing rural Lakeland economies, while solving problems for customers, businesses, communities, and organizations in the process.

The Lakeland region is a rugged area with amazing businesses, people, history and culture. I would enjoy nothing more than to strengthen and support the area I, and my family call home. I believe now is the time to embrace what brings us together, vote with our attention, and with our dollar, by supporting local.

While the Lakeland Case Study is initially free, continued or additional services are offered based on the value a project creates. This ensures my services are consistently value driven and customer focused.
